29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: The employer is exposing employees to an amputation hazard by not guarding machinery such as, but not limited to: a) The coil feeder used with the AIDA press did not have guarding to protect employees from in running nip points. b) The coil feeder used with the Komatsu press did not have guarding to protect employees from in running nip points. c) Amada Turret press did not have guarding to prevent employee contact with the rotating turret. This was most recently observed at 3838 South 108th St, Omaha, Nebraska, 68144.
