29 CFR 1910.1200(a)(1): The employer did not effectively ensure that the information concerning the hazards of all chemicals to which the employees may be exposed to, was transmitted as accomplished by the means of the employer's comprehensive hazard communication programs including labeling and other forms of warning, material safety data sheets and employee training. Chemical plant: On or about October 20, 2017 the employer did not ensure that the information on the manufactured chemicals safety data sheets were consistent with the United Nations Globally Harmonized System (GHS) prior to shipping the chemicals out. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards.
