29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a.) MacLean Saegertown, LLC, "Pit Area", on or about October 26th, 2017 and times prior thereto: Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Cardite Proclean during cleaning operations. Employees did not have access within the work area to an eyewash/shower station. b.) MacLean Saegertown, LLC, Material lab area, on or about October 26th, 2017 and times prior thereto: Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, Cardite Proclean during cleaning operations. The plumbed emergency eyewash/shower station in the Material lab area was not in compliance with ANSI/ISEA 358.1-2014 for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment in that: 1) Weekly inspections of the eyewash/shower station were not conducted. The emergency eyewash/shower unit was not activated weekly to verify proper operation.
