29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: a) 3rd Floor - Employees were observed installing metal decking and were not protected from a 31 foot - 7 inch fall hazard to the ground below, on or about October 26, 2017. b) 2nd Floor - Employees were observed securing metal decking and were not protected from 17 foot - 7 inch fall hazard to the ground below, on or about October 26, 2017. No abatement certification or documentation required.
