29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: a) Jobsite: 925 N Broad St, Philadelphia PA, 7th level (roof), steel beams, south side - Employees conducting nut and bolt work and welding on steel beams, approximately 44 feet above the lower level, were not protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system. The employer was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1273364, citation number 1 item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/27/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2 West Hamilton Avenue, York, PA 17401. Observed on or about 5/28/19.
