29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Projecting shaft end(s) did not present a smooth edge and end and projected more than one half the diameter of the shaft and was not guarded by a nonrotating cap or safety sleeve: A) Shell pit conveyor, on or about November 7, 2017, the horizontal shaft to the conveyor motor was not smooth and projected approximately 2 1/2 inches from the motor housing exposing employees to laceration and abrasion hazards.
