OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) At Silo #4, On or about January 31, 2018, employees working near Silo #4 were exposed to a fire and explosion hazard when self-heating in the silo caused an explosion that ripped the top of the silo open and expelled burning pecan shell material in the workplace.
