OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees due to a fall from an elevation.  A)  Front Exterior of house: Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 29 feet as they were using a material hoist as a ladder for access on to and off of the upper level of a structure, on or about October 4th, 2017.

29 CFR 1926.95(a): Personal protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, was not provided, used, or maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition it was necessary by reason of hazards of processes or environment, chemical hazards, radiological hazards, or mechanical irritants encountered in a manner capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through absorption, inhalation, or physical contact.    a) Exterior. Roof: Employees were exposed to eye/face injuries while using pneumatic nail guns and were not protected by ay type of eye/face protection, on or about October 4th 2017.   J&J Framing LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.95(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1276848, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 19th 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 41 Anderson Avenue in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

J & J Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 988685, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 19th, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 41 Anderson Avenue in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

J & J Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 988685, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on August 21st, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 41 Anderson Avenue in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
