29 CFR 1926.95(a): Personal protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, was not provided, used, or maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition it was necessary by reason of hazards of processes or environment, chemical hazards, radiological hazards, or mechanical irritants encountered in a manner capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through absorption, inhalation, or physical contact.    A) Exterior, On the roof: Employees were exposed to eye/face injuries while using pneumatic nail guns and were not protected by ay type of eye/face protection, on or about March 29th, 2018.  B) Exterior, On the ground: An employee was exposed to eye/face injuries while an electric saw and was not protected by ay type of eye/face protection, on or about March 29th, 2018.    J&J Framing LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.95(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1276848, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 10th 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 746 Undercliff Avenue in Edgewater, NJ.

29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:   A) On the upper level of the structure and on the ground: Employees without any head protection were engaged in framing activities below other employees working above, on or about March 29th, 2018.    J&J Framing LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1276848, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 10th 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 746 Undercliff Avenue in Edgewater, NJ.

J&J Framing LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1315893, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on January 10th 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 746 Undercliff Avenue in Edgewater, NJ.
