On or about October 23, 2017, at the worksite located 15248 Clayton Road, Ballwin, Missouri, an employee for Cecil Compton Construction, LLC was observed  installing siding while using a self-supporting ladder in a partially closed position to access an elevated surface. The fall distance to the ground below was approximately 10.5 feet.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(i): Each employee on a boatswains' chair, catenary scaffold, float scaffold, needle beam scaffold, or ladder jack scaffold was not protected by a personal fall arrest system;   On or about October 23, 2017, at the worksite located 15248 Clayton Road, Ballwin, Missouri, employee(s) for Cecil Compton Construction, LLC were observed installing siding on a newly built two-story residence from a ladder jack without the use of fall arrest system.  The scaffold platform had a fall distance of approximately 12 feet to the ground below.   Cecil Compton Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1229579, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 01, 2017 with respect to a workplace located at 503 Pecan Bluffs Court, Wentzville, MO 63385.     Cecil Compton Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 985839, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August, 08, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at Lot 161, Peruque Hills Court, Wentzville, MO 63385.

On or about October 23, 2017, at the worksite located 15248 Clayton Road, Ballwin, Missouri, employee(s) for Cecil Compton Construction, LLC were observed installing siding on a newly built two-story residence from a ladder jack scaffold approximately 12 feet from the ground below. The ladder jack scaffold was constructed of four ladders and three platforms.  The platforms were bridged one to another on the two center ladders.       Cecil Compton Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.452(k)(5), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1229579, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 01, 2017 with respect to a workplace located at with respect to a workplace located at 503 Pecan Bluffs Court, Wentzville, MO 63385.
