29 CFR 1904.7(b)(3): 29 CFR 1904.7(b)(3): Recording a work-related injury or illness that results in days away from work. When an injury or illness involved one or more days away from work occurred, the employer did not record the injury or illness on the OSHA 300 Log with a check mark in the space for cases involving days away and an entry of the number of calendar days away from work in the number of days column. For cases where the employee was out for an extended period of time, the employer did not update the day count when the actual number of days was known: (a) 5197 Commerce Drive, York Pennsylvania, 2017 OSHA 300 Log - An employee received a fracture to the eye socket. The employer did not place a check mark in Column H for days away from work and place the number of days away in Column K, on or about December 1, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
