29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a)  Mountain States Framing, LLC Located at 807 West 29th Street, Loveland, CO 80538:  On an preceding December 19, 2017, the employer did not ensure that employees on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet or more above a lower level were protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  An employee was working on a flat roof approximately 10 feet in height to stabilize a large panel of insulated plywood when he lost his balance and fell off of the surface to the ground.  This condition exposed employees to fall hazards.    The establishment, Mountain States Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 1091507, Citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/21/2015, with respect to a workplace located at Rt 38 & Church Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
