29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about January 4, 2018, on Line 6, Bagger #2 at bagger 0093, an employee tying scrap to the winder did not use the procedures developed for non-maintenance tasks, such as, but not limited to, typing the tail using tongs and when interlocks and gates were not installed at the equipment to prevent employee exposures to machine guarding hazards
