29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   On or about January 11, 2018, at the above addressed site, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet 3 inches from a walking/working surface when performing caulk work and cleaning duties while not being protected from falling to the lower level.   Gil Hyatt, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1223169, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/17/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2510 West Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work  shift to employees when they were in their work area(s):  On or about January 11, 2018, at the above addressed site, an employee was using a chemical including but not limited to American Sealants, Inc. Industrial and Construction Sealant/Adhesive while the employer did not maintain the safety data sheets for that products at the worksite.
