29 CFR 1910.243(c)(3): Abrasive wheels used on vertical portable grinder (handheld angle grinder) were not provided with safety guard having a maximum exposure angle of 180 degrees and located between the operator and wheel: Assembly and fabrication areas, portable handheld angle grinders: on or about February 5, 2018 employees using equipment for grinding tasks were exposed to hazards associated with missing cup guards. There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
