29 CFR 1926.852(a): Material was dropped to points lying outside the exterior walls of the structure which had not been effectively protected:  a) On or about 02/02/2018, at building 10 - employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard, in that, employees of Anaya Construction Services, Inc. were allowed to drop construction material debris from an elevated level of approximately 32 feet to the ground in areas where employees were permitted to walk. The work area below was not effectively protected.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or step of a stepladder was used as a step:  a) On or about 02/02/2018, building 10 - employees were exposed to an approximate 6 foot fall hazard while conducting framing work from the top of an A-frame step ladder.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) On or about 02/02/2018, at building 2 - employees of Big Hawk MX Builders LLC were exposed to a 41 foot fall hazard while conducting wood decking on a 5 in 12 pitched steep slope roof, in that, fall protection was not used.    b) On or about 02/02/2018, at building 5 - employees of Myelas Construction Inc were exposed to about a 41 foot, 32 foot and a 9 foot fall hazard while standing on top of the walls or the trusses, during truss installation and balconies during framing work, in that, fall protection was not used.     c) On or about 02/02/2018, at building 10 - employees of Anaya Construction Services, Inc. were exposed to a 41 foot and a 9 foot fall hazard while standing on top of the walls during framing work, in that, fall protection was not used.  Varanda Group Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(01), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1165718, Citation Number 01, Item Number 001a and was affirmed as a Final Order on 12/13/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 301 South Myrtle Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
