29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about 3/1/2018, The ingoing nip point for the large treater roll and nip roll at Extruder #2 for Treater #1 was not fully guarded to protect operators working in area. During the inspection the company agreed to correct similar issues with Extruder #2 - Printer, Extruder #2 - Treater #2, Extruder #3 - Treater #1.
