29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employees were exposed to airborne concentration of particulates not otherwise regulated, listed in Table Z-1, which is also referenced in Table Z-3 under Inert or Nuisance dust, in excess of 15 mg/m3 (total) as an 8-hour time weighted average. (a) The employer did not ensure that employee exposure to particulates not otherwise regulated (PNOR), total fraction, does not exceed 15 milligrams per cubic meter (mg/m3) of air as an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA). This violation occurred on or about March 22, 2018, at times prior thereto in the woodshop, where an employee working on the single head notcher was exposed to PNOR, total fraction, at an 8-hour TWA of 17.7 mg/m3 of air, approximately 1.18 times the PEL of 15 mg/m3. Sampling was performed for 425 minutes during one shift. Zero exposure was assumed for the 55 minute period not samples.
