29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wear a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects: a) Worksite - 125 Baker Hill Rd. Great Neck NY : Employees working alongside and directly below ongoing tree trimming were not wearing head protection; on or about 3/26/18. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19. Branching Out Tree Service, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1240124, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 1/8/18, with respect to a workplace located at 1400 Old Country Rd. Westbury NY 11590.
