29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about March 28, 2018, Rocky Mountain Construction Company, as a controlling employer, did not ensure that their subcontractor, Excellent roofing, protected their employees from falls approximately greater than 35 feet, while they were engaged in re-roofing operations of a residential building. Rocky Mountain Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501: Duty to have fall protection, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1212768, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 7, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 4247 Star Vista Court, Colorado Springs, CO 80906. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (See enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
