29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Jobsite: On July 19, 2018 and at times prior thereto an employee performed roofing activities on a 5 in 12 pitched roof. A complete fall protection system was not used. The employee wore a personal fall arrest harness without a lanyard or anchor point in place. This exposed the employee to a fall hazard ranging from 9 at the eaves and up to 15 and a-half feet from the peak to the ground. Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.
