29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about July 24, 2018, the employer did not ensure the Press 2 Tail Stretcher, located in the P-1 Extrusion department was adequately guarded, in that, employee were exposed which exposed to a pinch point between the stretcher jaws and the existing light curtains did not prevent access to the point of operation.
