29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.   a) Building 2nd floor trusses: Employees were exposed to eye and face injuries while using a pneumatic nail gun an were not protected with any type of eye/face protection, on or about 7/27/2018     The Madeira framing Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 956180, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/27/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 56 walnut Court Englewood, NJ 07631.

The Madeira Framing Co was previously cited for a willful violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926., which was 501(b)(13) contained in OSHA inspection number 1254776 citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/13/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 16-18 Intervale Rd Boonton, NJ 07005 .   The Madeira Framing Co was previously cited for a  serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1111920 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/27/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 108 fairway Dr. Middletown, NY 10940.
