On 7/25/2018, Masters Construction was installing sheathing on the roof of a residential building located on Lot 681 Mule Creek Drive in Wentzville, MO. An employee was not wearing eye protection while using a pneumatic nail gun.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On 7/25/2018, Masters Construction was installing sheathing on the roof of a residential building located on Lot 681 Mule Creek Drive in Wentzville, MO. An employee was attaching the sheathing on a 6/12 sloped roof approximately nine feet above the ground. He was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. Masters Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 987411, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 8/05/2014, and was affirmed as a final order on 8/14/2014, with respect to a workplace located a residential building located at 11 Pelican Court in Lake St. Louis, MO.
