Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1). Sage Engineering and Contracting, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.453 B (2) v, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1092752, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/4/2015 with respect to a workplace located at 39 O'Neil St., Easthampton, MA.

29 CFR 1926.850(a): Prior to permitting employees to start demolition operations, an engineering survey was not made, by a competent person, of the structure to determine the condition of the framing, floors, and walls, and possibility of unplanned collapse of any portion of the structure. Any adjacent structure where employees may be exposed shall also be similarly checked. The employer did not have in writing evidence that such a survey has been performed: a) 339 State St., Springfield, MA: On or about August 7, 2018, the employer did not have any evidence in writing that an engineering survey had been done prior to commencing demolition operations at this work site. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
