29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l) (Construction Reference 1926.602): a) Clark Place, Building 6, Morristown, NJ and at the Corporate Offices at 705 Galleria Drive, Williamstown, NJ. By not ensuring that those operating the JLG Lull rough terrain forklift had the training and evaluation to safely operate it, the employer placed worker(s) in danger, especially while operating around workers on the ground and picking materials around those working on the top plate of the structure. Violation observed on or about 08/07/2018.
