First Level On or about 02/23/2022 the employer did not develop and implement an accident prevention program for sub-contractor employees exposed to fall hazards of 15 feet while conducting framing and carpentry operations on an apartment building without the use of a personal fall arrest system or other means of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Location: 8 Kingsbridge Rd Fairfield, NJ 07004 - First level a) The employer did not ensure sub-contractor employees were protected from falls. Sub-contractor employees were exposed to fall hazards while conducting framing and carpentry operations on an apartment building approximately 15 feet without the use of a personal fall arrest system or other means of fall protection on or about 2/23/22. Hawk Builders LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1336555, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/26/2019, with respect to a workplace located at Building 6, Clark Place Morristown, NJ 07960.
