29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There were damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemcial action or overheating. a) Trailer Shop - On or about 8/29/2018, the employer exposed employees to electrical shock hazards in that, a receptacle was damaged and was not replaced when employees used it for a ceiling fan with 110 voltage.

29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): If there was a defect or evidence of damage that could have exposed an employee to injury, the defective or damaged item was not removed from service, and an employee used it before repairs and tests necessary to render the equipment safe were made: a) Tractor Shop - On or about 8/29/2018, the employer exposed employees to electrical shock hazards in that, the electrical wires on drop cords were exposed and damaged when employees were utilizing the cords for repair and maintenance of the tractors. b) Trailer Shop - On or about 8/29/2018, the employer exposed employees to electrical shock hazards in that, the electrical wires on a welder were exposed and damaged when employees were utilizing the electrical wires for welding the parts.
