29 CFR 1910.1025(g)(1): Appropriate protective work clothing and equipment were not used when employee(s) were exposed to lead where the possibility of skin irritation exists: On or about August 30, 2018, the employer did not require machine operators to use gloves when handling leaded brass fittings, shavings and the tools or equipment used in the manufacturing of the brass fittings. Employees were exposed to skin contact hazards that could result in skin irritation or abrasions.

29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: On or about August 30, 2018, the employer did not ensure all surfaces in Plant 2 such as, but not limited to Davenport access doors, parts strainers and the quality tables were maintained as free as practicable of lead surface contamination. Wipe testing results indicated surface contamination of lead ranging from 269 - 63,712 micrograms per square foot on these surfaces.

29 CFR 1910.1025(m)(1)(iii): The employer did not include lead in the hazard communication program established to comply with the HCS (� 1910.1200), and ensure that employees were trained on lead in accordance with the requirements of HCS and paragraph (l) of this section. On or about August 30, 2018, the employer did not provide training to employees working with leaded brass on the hazards of lead and the measures employees can take to protect themselves from the hazards.
