29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  On or about September 6, 2018 at Lot #30 and #31 Kemp Court, Conyers, Georgia, employees installing decking for the floor on the upper level were working at the edge and exposed to a fall hazard of more than six (6) feet to the lower level.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  On or about September 6, 2018 at Lot #30 and #31 Kemp Court, Conyers, Georgia, the employer failed to ensure that a ladder used by employees installing decking for the floor on the upper level did not extend at least 3 feet above the roof surface and/or was not secured at the top as required.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
