29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) At the jobsite located at 2797 SW 11th Terr. in Lee's Summit ,Missouri: Employees engaged in residential roofing activities, over the covered deck, from a 10/12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 16 feet 10 inches from the eave of the residence to the ground below in that fall protection was not provided. (b) At the jobsite located at 2797 SW 11th Terr. in Lee's Summit ,Missouri: Employees engaged in residential roofing activities from a 5/12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 16 feet 4 inches from the eave of the residence to the ground below in that fall protection was not provided. The Century Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1073182, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on July 20, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at5709 NW 103rd Street, Kansas City, Missouri.
