29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section:    (a)  Blanking Department, Drusala 1200S & DRU 1200 Printer: Employees working in the Blanking Department were required to wipe down the cutter rollers with the print roller still energized and rotating. The procedure was not utilized to safely perform this task exposing employees to ingoing nip point, crushing hazard and amputation injury.       In the alternative...     1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts and crushing hazards.    (a) Blanking Department: The employer did not insure printing press guarding was properly implemented as part of the integrated safety system . This allowed the employee(s) to access the powered rollers in an energized state and exposed the employee(s) to ingoing nip point, crushing hazard and amputation injury.      Seda North America, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1288442, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 08, 2018, with respect to the workplace located at 12501 Globe Dr. Mount Pleasant, WI.
