29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) On or about 10/16/18, on the roof of a commercial building at 850 Hopkins Rd., Williamsville, NY:  Employees engaged in roofing work on a steep roof were exposed to a fall of approx.  10 ft.  No fall protection system was being used.  Pitch of the roof was approx.  5 in 12.   NO ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED   Thumbs Up Roofing  & Siding LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1267874, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/31/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 38 Linden Avenue, Kenmore, NY 14217.  Thumbs Up Roofing  & Siding LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1255739, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/13/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 71 Mill Street, Williamsville, NY 14221.
