29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operators and other employees from hazard(s) created by ingoing nip points and rotating parts: On or about October 22, 2018, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not provide guards for the following lathe machines: 1) The lathe machine located in the mill building which exposed employees to the hazard of being struck by the jaws of the chuck. 2) The lathe machine located in the RND lab which exposed employees to the hazard of being struck by the jaws of the chuck.
