29 CFR 1910.180(g)(1)(iii): An inspection of the running ropes resulted in the discovery of worn outside wires. On October 23, 2018, employees engaged in shipyard operations, moved vessel parts utilizing wire rope with worn outside wires on the Manitowoc 999 crane. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.
