29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l) (Construction reference 1926.602(d)): At 6305 Crescent Dr. Norcross GA, 30093: On or about December 13, 2018 and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to hazards associated with employees operating a rough terrain forklift without training and without ensuring that operators had been successfully trained including, but not limited to formal instruction and practical training. Employees used a JBC forklift, Serial Number 10851089 to lift materials and lower trash from the roof.
