On 1/14/19, at the Foodmate auto deboning machine in production, the platform at the machine was missing end rails leaving employees exposed to a fall to lower levels of more than 4 feet.

OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the Kill room and Live Hang rooms were inadequately lit.     On 1/14/19, in the Kill and Live Hang rooms employees were exposed to trip hazards as the rooms were lit with 1 -2 foot candles of lighting.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
