29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.  a). Southside of the hotel - On or about January 18, 2019, the employer did not instruct employees on how to recognize and control hazards associated with using attachments such as a personnel work platform attachment on a CAT Telehandler (model: TL943D), thus exposing employees to a fall hazard up to approximately feet 12 feet.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a). Southside of the hotel - On or about January 18, 2019, employees used a pneumatic nail gun and hammers without the use of eye protection, thus exposing employees to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use.  a). Southside of the hotel - On or about January 18, 2019, a CAT Telehandler (model: TL943D) was used to support an unapproved personnel work platform attachment, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard up to approximately feet 12 feet.  B G Framing Co., Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(c)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1170762, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on October 18, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1001 Gloucester Street, Brunswick, GA 31520.
