29 CFR 1926.1126(j)(2)(i)(A): The employer did not provide appropriate information and training for all employees exposed to chromium (VI), in that employees could not demonstrate knowledge of the contents of the Chromium (VI) standard, 29 CFR 1926.1126: a. On or about January 14, 2019 and at times prior, at building 3001 thermal spray booths, the employer did not ensure information and training on the contents of the Chromium (VI) standard, 29 CFR 1926.1126, was provided to subcontractor employees who removed and installed overhead lighting parts in thermal spray booths and employees who over saw the subcontractor in thermal spray booths where Chromium VI was present.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) a. On or about January 14, 2019 and at times prior, at building 3001 thermal spray booths, the employer did not ensure effective information and training on Chromium VI and Nickel was provided to subcontractor employees who removed and installed overhead lighting parts in thermal spray booths and to employees engaged in oversight of the subcontractor. Thermal spray booths contained hazardous chemicals including but not limited to Chromium VI and Nickel.
