29 CFR 1960.8(a): 29 CFR 1960.8(a): The Agency head did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employee that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm: 1) On March 11, 2019, and at prior times, The FAA did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employer that was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm, in the following instances: a) where Tech Op employees were not trained in the emergency action plan for the Centennial ATCT, per paragraph 1960.20(h)(3)(ii) of the Alternate Standard for Fire Safety in Airport Traffic Control Towers. b) where Tech Op employees did not participate in fire drills at the Centennial ATCT, at least annually, per paragraph 1960.20(k) of the Alternate Standard for Fire Safety in Airport Traffic Control Towers.
