29 CFR  1910.164(c)(1): The employer did not maintain all systems in an operable condition except during repairs or maintenance.   a) On or about December 11, 2025, at the Air Traffic Control Tower, Tech Office, the employer did not evaluate the control panel of the fire alarm system (Brand ADT, Unimode 200 UDLS) to ensure it was in operable condition. The system was indicating a 'system trouble' and emitting a constant beeping sound and has not been addressed to determine the source of potential malfunction, exposing employees to a fire hazard.   NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
