29 CFR 1910.306(g)(2)(ii): Switches operated by foot pressure was not provided with a shield over the contact button to avoid accidental closing of the switch. On or about March 12, 2019, and at times prior thereto the employer did not provide a shield (kickplate) over the saw pedal to avoid accidental closing of the switch.
