29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about 03/14/19, on the building roof top of the Nativity of the BVM Parish Center, located on 152 Main Street, in Brockport, New York, the employer did not protect an employee from falling 16.5 feet to ground level. The employee was installing wood framing to metal studs and exposed to an unprotected side without fall protection. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
