29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, shall be equipped with:  29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): One stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge.   a. Located at 12365 Ebright Lane in Pickerington, Ohio: On or about April 3, 2019, employees were using a wooden stairway to access the second floor of the house that did not have any stair rails on the lower section, thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder shall not be used as a step.   a. Located at 12365 Ebright Lane in Pickerington, Ohio: On or about April 3, 2019, employees were using the top of a six foot fiberglass stepladder to climb up onto the roof of the house, thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately six foot.

Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.    a. Located at 12365 Ebright Lane in Pickerington, Ohio: On or about April 3, 2019, the employer failed to ensure employees performing framing work from the roof were protected from fall hazards while installing truss bracing and sheathing. Employees were exposed to an approximately twenty foot fall hazard.

Located at 12365 Ebright Lane in Pickerington, Ohio: On or about April 3, 2019, the employer failed to develop and maintain a safety and health program to ensure hazards were identified and corrected onsite while performing framing work.    MMD Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1330328, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 22, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 85 Cloverhill Drive in Pickerington, Ohio.

MMD Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1330328, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 22, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 85 Cloverhill Drive in Galloway, Ohio.     Mauricio Martinez was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 974283, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 1, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 375 Hutchinson Avenue, Columbus, Ohio.
