29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a) Work site was located at 605 Pavonia Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306    An employee was exposed to fall hazards as he was working on the twelfth floor in close proximity to an unguarded leading edge exposing him to a fall of over one hundred feet to the ground below.    Violation was observed on or about April 17th, 2019.    Industrial Urban Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1103989, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/31/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 33 Park Ave., Jersey City, NJ.    Industrial Urban Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1098888, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/15/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 33 Park Ave., Jersey City, NJ.
