Classification and penalty remain as issued. a) USCG Healy at Vigor Shipyard in Seattle, WA; On or about April 9, 2019, Painters were wearing half face Honeywell brand North 7700-30 respirators and did not have other brands (MSA, 3M etc.) of respirators to choose from to ensure a proper fit.

29 CFR 1910.134(i)(5)(i): Compressors used to supply breathing air to respirators were not so constructed and situated so as to prevent entry of contaminated air into the air-supply system: a) USCG Healy at Vigor Shipyard, in Seattle, WA; On or about April 22, 2019; an air compressor that was used to supply breathing air to respirators for employees working in a tank was located in an enclosed area with gasoline powered vehicle movement (lifts and Bobcat). This exposed employees to carbon monoxide overexposure hazards.
