29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The floor of each workroom was not maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition: a) On or about May 15, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that the basement, or pit, of plant 2 was maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. Water and chemicals including, but not limited to, oils and lubricates, drain into the basement creating an unsafe walking-working surface. Employees are exposed to slip, trip, and fall hazards. b) On or about May 15, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that the basement, or pit, of plant 3 was maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. Water and chemicals including, but not limited to, oils and lubricates, drain into the basement creating an unsafe walking-working surface. Employees are exposed to slip, trip, and fall hazards.
