29 CFR 1910.176(a): Where mechanical handling equipment was used, sufficient safe clearances were not allowed for aisles, at loading docks, through doorways and wherever turns or passage was made. Aisles and passageways were not kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard. a) Warehouse, Building #380 - On or about 05/21/19 and at times prior thereto aisles and passageways were cluttered/obstructed with boxes, containers, crates, bundles, and other materials handling systems which precluded the safe operation of powered industrial trucks. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
