29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(ii): The employer did not document that equipment complies with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices: a) Engine Room 1 - On or about June 3, 2019, Employees did not have access to eyewashes and showers located outside of the engine room, that meet the requirements of RAGAGEP IIAR 2, 1992, section 4.4.7. The eye wash/shower was located 56 ft. from the engine room and not readily accessible in that employees were required to traverse steps. b) Engine Room 2 - On or about June 3, 2019, Employees did not have access to eyewashes and showers located outside of the engine room, that meet the requirements of RAGAGEP IIAR 2, 1992 section 4.4.7. The eye wash/shower was located 16 ft. from the engine room and was not readily accessible in that employees were required to traverse steps. c) Engine Room 3 - On or about June 3, 2019, Employees did not have access to eyewashes and showers located outside of the engine room, that meet the requirements of RAGAGEP IIAR 2, 1992, section 4.4.7. The eye wash/shower was located 77 ft. from the engine room and not readily accessible in that employees were required to traverse steps.
