29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Laboratory, 47 West Craig Street, Uniontown, PA 15401: Observed on or about June 4, 2019, 8 gauge nonmetallic-sheathed cable was being used to supply 220 volt power to a Frigidaire brand air conditioning unit. The conductors were subject to physical damage where run through a hole in the ceiling tile and where draped over air conditioning unit. The outer sheath of the nonmetallic-sheathed cable had completely worn away. The weight of the air conditioning unit plug was supported entirely by the conductors.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Flexible cords were run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors: a) Laboratory, 47 West Craig Street, Uniontown, PA 15401: Observed on or about June 4, 2019, a yellow flexible cord (110 volt) was run through a hole in the ceiling in the laboratory. The cord was being used to supply power to a Thermo Scientific brand incubator.
